Regional Director — Belgium & France

Lelystad / Remote · Full-time

Full-time

Lead NRG2fly's expansion into Belgium and France, building relationships with airports, aviation authorities, and energy stakeholders in both markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute NRG2fly's market entry strategy for Belgium and France
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional airport operators, aviation authorities (DGAC, DGLV), and energy providers
  • Identify funding and grant opportunities within both national and EU frameworks
  • Lead client assessments and develop tailored electric aviation roadmaps
  • Represent NRG2fly at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings in the region
  • Coordinate with the NRG2fly central team and other Regional Directors to share best practices

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in aviation, energy, or related infrastructure sectors
  • Established network in Belgian and/or French aviation or energy markets
  • Fluent in French; Dutch or English is a strong plus
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to develop business in regulated markets
  • Passion for sustainable aviation and the energy transition

Regional Director — Scandinavia

Drive NRG2fly's growth across the Nordic region, where electric aviation ambitions are among the highest in Europe and the regulatory environment is increasingly supportive.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the NRG2fly strategy for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland
  • Establish relationships with airport groups (Avinor, Swedavia, Finavia, etc.), energy utilities, and national aviation authorities
  • Monitor Scandinavian aviation policy and identify opportunities for NRG2fly's services
  • Manage pilot projects with early adopter airports in the region
  • Build a regional pipeline of airport clients and energy partners
  • Contribute to NRG2fly's thought leadership in Nordic electric aviation forums

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Scandinavian aviation, energy, or infrastructure
  • Existing network with Nordic airport operators, airlines, or energy companies
  • Fluent in one or more Nordic languages; English required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a new market
  • Strong understanding of Nordic energy markets and sustainability policy

Regional Director — DACH

Grow NRG2fly's presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland — a region with a dense airport network, strong renewable energy infrastructure, and rapidly evolving electric aviation interest.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own NRG2fly's DACH market strategy and execution plan
  • Build relationships with German regional airports (ADV members), Austrian airports, and Swiss aviation stakeholders
  • Liaise with DFS, Austro Control, and BAZL on regulatory topics relevant to electric aviation
  • Identify and develop new client opportunities and partnerships with energy companies
  • Attend and present at DACH aviation and energy conferences
  • Report on market developments and competitive landscape to the NRG2fly leadership team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in aviation, energy, or infrastructure in the DACH region
  • Strong existing network in German, Austrian, or Swiss aviation or energy markets
  • Native-level German; English required; additional languages a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Self-starter comfortable working across national borders with a small headquarters team

Aviation Energy Consultant

Lelystad Airport / Teuge Airport · Full-time

Full-time

Based at Lelystad or Teuge Airport, you'll work hands-on with airport operations teams and energy providers to design and implement electric aviation charging infrastructure and energy management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed energy and infrastructure assessments at client airports
  • Design charging infrastructure layouts and grid connection specifications for electric aircraft
  • Develop business cases and investment plans for airport energy hub transitions
  • Coordinate with grid operators, equipment suppliers, and airport technical teams during implementation
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance metrics
  • Contribute to NRG2fly's technical knowledge base and best practice documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Aerospace, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in energy consulting, airport operations, or aviation infrastructure
  • Understanding of EV / electric aviation charging systems and grid infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with technical project management
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are an asset
  • Willingness to travel to client airports across Europe
